Are You Ready For Alert Level 2? ?

New Zealand will move to Alert Level 2 on Thursday 14th May. 

This means cafes, restaurants, tourism operators, libraries, cinemas, gyms and travel will resume within 48 hours. But, it won’t be a return to business as usual for everyone. 

There are restrictions on how many people can be in a confined space or mode of transport while the physical distancing measures continue to be practised. This means that some tourism operators that have activities where people have to be in proximity for extended periods may not reopen until Level 1. 

This also means that businesses will need some form of contact tracing measures in place when operations start. There is no one-size-fits-all model for businesses, but some features like the RTBS Custom Fields can be useful in capturing customer trace records. 

Contact Tracing With RTBS Custom Fields 

RTBS Custom Fields are now available for operators to capture additional information on their booking page. For example, you can create a simple new free-flow text field Travel History to allow the customer enter their travel history info into their booking. 

Go to Setup Your Business > Custom Fields > Click on the ‘+’ button to create a new Custom Field on your booking page. Refer to this help-guide for a step-by-step guidance on creating new custom fields.
